AltoBeam recently announced the launch of ATBM6062D, its new-generation single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 + BLE 5.4 chip. As the 3rd-generation product in the company's single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 lineup, ATBM6062D delivers substantial improvements based on the proven strengths of its predecessor ATBM6062C.
Advanced Process Upgrade for Lower Power Consumption & Enhanced Performance
Unlike the first two generations fabricated on 40nm process, ATBM6062D adopts advanced 28nm semiconductor manufacturing technology. The upgraded process greatly cuts chip power consumption while optimizing overall performance metrics.
SDIO 3.0 Support for Dramatically Improved Throughput
To meet surging demands for high-speed data transmission, ATBM6062D adds native SDIO 3.0 interface compatibility. Driven by the upgraded interface protocol, the chip achieves markedly higher throughput versus prior generations, efficiently handling heavy-data workloads and enabling smoother wireless connectivity for end users.
